Welcome! The Exceed community holds a special place in its heart for first-timers. Here are some tips to make your first experience with us a great one:
1. Motivate. Hydrate. Feel great!
- • Don’t forget to hydrate before, during and after exercising. Bring your own bottle to fill up at our fountains or purchase small/large water bottles at the front desk.
2. Check In
- • Arrive 5-10 minutes early for class.
- • Say hello to the Front Desk and introduce yourself as a new client.
- • Create Your Account and complete the Client Liability Waiver.
- • Initial when you arrive and you’re all set!
- • Athletes under 18 years of age need a parent/guardian present to sign in.
3. Meet Your Instructor
- • Say hi! Arriving early will also give you a chance to meet your instructor and discuss any injuries or limitations so they can customize your training.
- • Read the writing on the wall: Seriously, check out our athlete wall and what’s going on on our community boards.
4. Get Ready To Exceed
- • Our classes will push you to Exceed – whether you’re going for our classic, signature Workout, Rocking it out in Cardio Boxing, ringing the Kettle Bells or joining The Masters. For the young ones, there’s kids classes, and if you’re into being one of the centers of attention, Semi-Private Training might be best for you.
- • Seek your own level. We welcome all and support all, and our classes are flexible, too.
5. Before You Leave
- • Better bend than break: In addition to your cool down in the final minutes of class, hang out for a bit and work on your flexibility in our stretching area or on our training floor (lower level).
- • Don’t go without saying goodbye – or at least checking on any deals we are giving away to lucky first-timers – that means you!
Where to change? We like you just the way you are, but if you won’t be comfortable working out in a suit, don’t worry – we have men’s and women’s locker rooms equipped with showers and fully stocked with anything you might need to freshen up after your workout, including towels.
